Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence and Executive Intelligence are just a few of the more recent terms used to express the need for effective leadership within organizations. The research suggests that intelligence of leaders, quantified through measuring these constructs, is directly related to the productivity, profitability and wellness of the organization. Effective leadership and management do make a difference. Our approach to coaching is based on the philosophy that you need to understand what skills you presently have and how those skills impact your organization and the people you lead. This foundation of understanding provides the leader being coached with a compelling reason for change. The initial assessment also allows for the leader and coach to define a process and plan of action that will translate into the changes required to meet the needs of the leader and the organization. We have provided executive coaching to executives from a wide cross section of industries, business sectors and within the Not for Profit organizations. The diversity of companies provides us with an understanding of the common challenges facing executives across industries as well as an understanding of the specific issues within a given industry. Our coaching philosophy leads to a blend between the personal and professional growth needs of the leader and is both exploratory and practical in its focus.
